The extended temperature range make them ideal for applications such as switched mode power supplies and factory equipment, and all applications where components are packed densely. The PS2561B-1 series comes in a plastic dual in-line package (DIP) with a high isolation voltage of 5000 Vrms and is available as a through-hole version or a surface mount version. Output collector to emitter voltages up to 80V can be applied and maximum current of 50mA can be obtained. The new High Temperature optocouplers can operate at both 1mA and 5mA input currents and the values for the current transfer ratio (CTR) are specified for both input current levels. Availabilty Additional information about NEC Electronics Europe’s optocouplers can be found at http://www.eu.necel.com/opto. About NEC Electronics (Europe) GmbH
