Z-Wave Chosen by Simplay Labs as RF Technology for Comprehensive CEC Solution for HDMI

New Partnership Will Allow Manufacturers to Develop Interoperable Multi-Device Whole Home Solutions

CES 2008 - January 8, 2008 - Zensys, developer of the award-winning Z-Wave wireless home control standard, today announced a partnership with Simplay Labs, LLC, the leading provider of testing technologies, programs and interoperability design standards for the high-definition (HD) electronics industry, to provide a comprehensive solution for consumer electronics control, or CEC. Simplay Labs will also join the Z-Wave Alliance, an open consortium of manufacturers, developers and market influencers dedicated to delivering on the promise of affordable, interoperable wireless home control products.
