Unified Portal Streamlines IP Search for Common Platform Foundry Technology

CUPERTINO, Calif.--September 10, 2007-- Chip Estimate Corporation today announced a collaboration with IBM and Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd. to consolidate information on semiconductor intellectual property (IP) that supports Common Platform technology. The Common Platform web site is also linked to the ChipEstimate.com chip planning portal.

Electronics designers can go to one location at commonplatform.com/ipsearch to find a complete catalog of 90-nanometer (nm), 65nm and 45nm IP that has been developed to take advantage of the multiple sourcing capabilities offered by the Common Platform technology alliance.
