Recursion Software Extends .NET Compatibility to the JBoss Platform for Distributed and Mobile Networks

Building on its partnership with Red Hat's JBoss Division, Recursion Software has integrated JBoss Messaging with its Voyager Edge 6.1 intelligent agent platform. As a service bridging JBoss Messaging to and from any Java Message Service (JMS) compliant service and Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ), Voyager provides JBoss customers with access to the complete .NET architecture on any embedded or edge device.

Now, customers can rapidly build intelligent mobile applications to run on multiple wireless devices and networks, while maintaining interoperability with many heterogeneous enterprise systems. Customers benefit from powerful edge-to-enterprise integration within widely distributed heterogeneous environments with the advantage of Voyager’s minimal footprint, which is essential to constrained wireless and embedded environments. JMS messaging transactions are simplified through transparently remote components and a single API that can publish and subscribe messages to any device, including PDAs, Smartphones, sensors, laptops, and servers, regardless of which virtual machine – Java VM or .NET Common Language Runtime (CLR) – they are running on, or moving to.
