BSQUARE Announces Windows CE Support for Devices Built with Embedded Intel® Architecture Chipsets

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BSQUARE (Nasdaq:BSQR) today announced support for OEMs using Microsoft Windows CE with select Embedded Intel® Architecture Chipsets. Seeing the growing OEM demand for Windows CE support in gaming, industrial control, and medical device markets, Intel collaborated with BSQUARE to make Windows CE Board Support Packages (BSPs) available for its Embedded Intel Architecture Chipsets.

BSQUARE has completed development and testing of Windows CE 5.0 BSPs for the Mobile Intel® 915GME Express Chipset, the Intel® 855GME Chipset, and the Intel® 852GM/GME Chipset. These binary BSPs will be available for download free of charge at BSQUARE’s web site. Customization of the BSP, including porting to Windows Embedded CE 6.0, is also available from BSQUARE.
