Kozio, Inc. Partners with AMCC to Deliver Automated Hardware Diagnostics for AMCC’s 405EZ Evaluation Platform

kDiagnostics now ships on the Acadia 405EZ evaluation kit
to help AMCC customers validate new designs and speed time to market

Longmont, Colo., April 2, 2007 — Kozio, Inc., the leading provider of automated hardware diagnostics ideally suited for board bring-up, manufacturing test and power-on self-test, has announced the availability of kDiagnostics software for AMCC’s new Acadia 405EZ evaluation kits.

The Acadia evaluation board incorporates kDiagnostics, and enables comprehensive evaluation of the AMCC 405EZ PowerPC processor and platform. Customers can have full diagnostics for their custom platform in two to ten days. The diagnostic test coverage includes new test suites for CAN, PWM, and DAC/ADC, plus tests for other controllers.

Kozio began offering kDiagnostics support for 405EZ PowerPC processors in June 2006. With kDiagnostics included in the newly developed evaluation kits, AMCC customers have the opportunity to see for themselves how Kozio’s advanced software delivers in-depth testing of 405EZ-based circuit boards, before they purchase the full version of the software.
