Dekolink Announces 1900 MHz Band Selective RF Compact Repeater which Supports up to Four Non-Contiguous Frequency Blocks

Dekolink Wireless is introducing a new in-building compact RF repeater specifically designed to handle the fragmented spectrum situation for US carriers. The Deko2119CR is the only repeater in the industry that offers the ability to support up to four non-contiguous blocks in a single compact unit which can be retuned remotely.

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dekolink Wireless, Ltd., the fastest growing provider of enhanced RF in-building coverage solutions in the US, is today demonstrating its new PCS “block selective” RF compact repeater at CTIA in Orlando. Dekolink has solved a key issue for the US carrier market with their revolutionary new approach that is capable of handling non-contiguous spectrum in an easy and effective way. As an industry first, Dekolink is introducing a repeater that can support up to four blocks of spectrum in a single unit, which can be tuned both locally and remotely.

Other Dekolink PCS repeaters will also offer the support of up to four non-contiguous frequency blocks with in-field tunability across the entire PCS band and remote activation and de-activation.

Another key feature with the Deko2119CR is Dekolink’s industry-leading performance characteristics, including the patent-pending, intelligent, self-optimizing SmartALC algorithm. SmartALC™ enables automatic, seamless integration in any PCS network and protects the repeater from oscillations. SmartALC balances coverage and ensures easy, error-free installations while maintaining a network-friendly architecture. The unit can also provide remote monitoring and control facilitated by an embedded remote communications controller that can be configured via direct, web-based access or through a third-party NMS.

The Deko2119CR is compatible with all technology standards in the PCS bands. It provides +21 dBm composite RF output power with 80 dB gain and provides indoor coverage up to 50,000 square feet. The Deko2119CR is generally available now.
