PLX Technology Hosts PCI Express Workshop at Bus & Board Conference

LONG BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PLX Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:PLXT), the leading supplier of PCI Express® (PCIe®) and other standard I/O interconnect solutions, today announced it will host a PCIe workshop at the Bus & Board Conference, held January 15-16 in Long Beach, Calif. Akber Kazmi, PLX® product marketing director, and Stephen Moore, PLX senior product marketing manager, will present a comprehensive workshop addressing PCIe bridging and switching technology in embedded systems, one of the most rapidly growing market segments for the powerful interconnect technology. Additionally, PLX will showcase its ExpressLane™ PCIe bridging and switching solutions in a live demonstration featuring multiple video cameras whose images are delivered over separate channels and displayed on a single monitor. (The video-capture board used in the demonstration, originally based on conventional PCI, reflects the ease with which systems can quickly migrate to PCIe.)
