Teranex Innovative ClearVue™ Monitoring System Is Now Available

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Teranex, a leader in high performance video processing solutions for the broadcast and post-production industries, is pleased to announce the availability of its versatile and innovative LCD based monitoring system introduced at IBC in September.

“Until now, Broadcast and Film Professionals preferred CRT for their color calibration capability and lack of audio delay. The new ClearVue monitoring system addresses both issues, it is now the only flat panel system with D65 performance from lowlights to highlights, and matched embedded audio delay, no more lip-sync issues,” said Jed Deame, Teranex co-founder and General Manager. “Our ClearVue processor accurately maps all incoming signals pixel-by-pixel to the display’s native resolution, hence providing higher resolution than a Broadcast CRT monitor at a fraction of the price.” continued Mr. Deame.

The ClearVue monitoring system includes a ClearVue processor matched to a 24 inch 16:10 WUXGA 24 inch TFT LCD Panel. Teranex HQV Technology yields unsurpassed image quality for the exacting professional. The ClearVue is packed with Teranex technology like PixelMotion™ Deinterlacing and Multi-Directional Diagonal Filtering (MDDF™), proprietary algorithms reproducing incoming signals with impressive accuracy. Full-resolution reproduction of images is assured through Teranex’s Per-Pixel Video/Film detection algorithm. The ClearVue system is able to handle just about any analog or digital signal, including 24 Frame (PSF) signals. The ClearVue processor uses Silicon Optix’s Realta image processing engine, minimizing the size of the electronics required to accomplish difficult image handling tasks while maximizing image quality.

ClearVue Monitoring System Features;

* D65 Color Calibrated At Factory
* HQV Technology For Full Resolution Display of 480i and 1080i
* Interlaced & Progressive SD/HD SDI Input
* SD/HD Analog/Digital Video I/O
* SP/DIF (AES) & Embedded Audio With Perfect Lip Sync, Available On HDMI And SP/DIF (AES) Outputs
* DVI/HDMI/RGB 1080p60/50 Output
* Glitch-Free Automatic Sync & Format Recognition Switching
* LCD Reliability With Substantial Space And Energy Savings

The result is the best possible picture from a flexible, powerful, and user-friendly display system. Teranex’s ClearVue provides a viable and affordable replacement for heavy, fragile and space-hungry CRTs.
