Fonix Speech Interface Provides Best Solution for Middle East Trilingual Speaking Dictionary and Encyclopedia
SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fonix Speech, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Fonix Corporation (OTC BB: FNIX) specializing in embedded speech interfaces for mobile devices, handheld electronic products, video game systems and processors, announces the Fonix Language Learning Speech Solution on a portable electronic dictionary manufactured and sold by Brilliant System, a Hong Kong-based producer of electronic data organizers, translators and dictionaries. Brilliant System’s device, the 7700 Super, went into mass production at the end of September 2006 and is targeted to the Middle Eastern market. Brilliant anticipates shipping around 100,000 units over the next year. Fonix receives unit royalties from the sale of each device.
