LTX Introduces the X-Series Fusion LX Test System

New LX Provides a Compact, Cost-Effective Test Solution from the Production Floor to the Engineering Lab

NORWOOD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LTX Corporation (Nasdaq: LTXX), a leading provider of semiconductor test solutions, today announced its new X-Series Fusion LX test system. The LX system builds on the success of the company’s award winning desktop DX system – offering more instrument slots, a direct loadboard interface and comprehensive production capabilities – while still maintaining a compact configuration that does not require a mainframe. This makes the LX ideal for both high volume production and engineering characterization. It offers 20 instrument slots, 128 digital pins, and the X-Series’ full range of DSP, DC and power capabilities.

The addition of the LX further expands the scalability of the compatible X-Series family of test systems, providing the lowest infrastructure cost for a production test solution. This increases the addressable market of the X-series by enabling it to provide a compelling production solution for cost-sensitive analog and low-end mixed signal applications. In addition, the zero-footprint design of the LX enables it to provide more cost-effective probe solutions.

The LX incorporates 20 universal instrument slots, enabling it to test a broad range of applications. It can be configured as a complete production solution, featuring a full function manipulator with XYZ docking to probers and handlers and a remote tester controller for DUT power and EMO. The LX is also available in a low-cost engineering configuration, featuring a limited function stand to minimize costs.
