SYS Technologies Announces Release of Enhanced DVR Product

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 3, 2006--SYS Technologies, (AMEX:SYS), a leading provider of information connectivity solutions that enable real-time, complex decision-making, announced today the release of Version 6.0 of its Marathon Digital Video Recorder (DVR) software. The Marathon DVR is part of the cVideo product family of software-based integrated digital video applications used in video surveillance, integrated security, and loss prevention solutions for industrial and governmental applications.

This latest version includes the ability to stream recorded video in a bandwidth-efficient manner, perform visual searches using thumbnail images to quickly locate relevant video, CODEC bandwidth enhancements, scheduled black & white camera mode (reduces storage requirements), spot monitor support, per-camera settings (e.g., Brightness, Contrast, Hue, etc.), video intelligence enhancements, and now runs on Embedded XP.
