As the first supply chain service provider to offer wireless activation services to this market segment, ModusLink serves as a facilitator between the hardware vendors and their wireless application service provider, enabling them to work seamlessly and efficiently to get customers activated instantly and cost-efficiently.

The new service allows hardware manufacturers to offer their customers an instant, easy to use process for activating their computer's embedded wireless capabilities getting them up and running quickly to start reaping the benefits of wireless computing. ModusLink has been implementing the service in the U.S. for several months and has just begun implementation in Europe for one of the industry's leading notebook vendors, enabling them to furnish their European customers with an easy process for activating their new wireless computers' capabilities.
