In-Stat Announces Call for Papers for Spring Processor Forum 2006

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 30, 2005--Participate in the industry's most important event for new microprocessors and related announcements. In-Stat, publisher of Microprocessor Report and the forum host, invites you to submit proposals for presentations at Spring Processor Forum, to be held May 16-17, 2006, in San Jose, Calif. This year's theme will be Power-Efficient Design.

We are looking for technical presentations from leading companies and innovative startups that will show how the industry's best engineers are designing powerful single- and multi-core processors without busting their power budgets. SPF 2006 will also tackle the power-efficiency problem at the system level, with presentations geared for system designers as well as chip developers.

We are now seeking presentations on the following topics:

-- PC processors

-- Server processors

-- General-purpose low-power embedded processors

-- General-purpose high-performance embedded processors

-- Processors for consumer electronics and other application-specific designs

-- Digital signal processors

-- Intellectual property (IP) and tools for system-on-chip (SoC) design

-- New technologies for semiconductor design and manufacturing

-- Software and programming tools for power-efficient system design

Your presentation should be technically deep and market-relevant, with emphasis on new disclosures. Most presentations will be 20 minutes long, but we are also soliciting presentations up to 40 minutes long for topics of special interest.
