ASSET(R) Works to Include System-Level Boundary-Scan Test into the MicroTCA Spec; As First Boundary-Scan Company in PICMG, ASSET Defines JTAG's Implementation in Industry Standard

RICHARDSON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 2005--By being the first boundary-scan (IEEE 1149.1/JTAG) company to join the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group (PICMG), ASSET InterTech, Inc. (www.asset-intertech.com) is helping to define a system-level JTAG architecture as part of the Micro Telecom Computing Architecture (MicroTCA) standard. Many telecommunications equipment manufacturers are turning to boundary-scan as a test and diagnostic technology for entire systems.

ASSET is an international leader in boundary-scan (IEEE 1149.1/JTAG) test and in-system programming (ISP). Its ScanWorks(R) boundary-scan system has advanced system-level capabilities and has been adopted extensively in the telecommunications industry by companies such as Lucent Technologies, Ericsson, Alcatel, Cisco and others.
