Tensilica Provides Technology Preview of Video Engine at Fall Processor Forum; Company to Discuss Upcoming High-Performance Multicore Video Decoder

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 2005--Tensilica:
    Who:    As the only company that has automated and patented the
            time-consuming process of generating a customized
            microprocessor core along with a complete software
            development tool environment, Tensilica is recognized as
            an industry leader. Gulbin Ezer, Hardware Design Manager
            at Tensilica, will provide a technology preview of the
            company's High-Performance Multicore Video Decoder in the
            "Processor IP for Multicore" session.

    What:   In-Stat's Fall Processor Forum is an annual event
            organized and moderated by analysts at Microprocessor
            Report. Each forum has new announcements and technical
            disclosures about processors for desktop PCs, mobile PCs,
            servers, and embedded systems and presentations are aimed
            at a technical audience. The "Processor IP for Multicore"
            session will be moderated by Tom Halfhill and includes
            technical presentations from IP providers that license
            embedded-processor cores designed for easier multicore
            integration.

            The Fall Processor Forum takes place October 24-27.
