The MathWorks Introduces New xPC Target Drivers for Condor Engineering Avionics Boards; Supports Rapid Prototyping and Hardware-in-the-Loop Applications in Aerospace Design and Test

NATICK, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 11, 2005--The MathWorks today announced that it has developed drivers for its xPC Target rapid prototyping product to support hardware from Condor Engineering, a leading provider of military and commercial avionics databus solutions, including high-performance, high-density modules for ARINC 429 and MIL-STD-1553 applications. With the new drivers, xPC Target now supports both commercial (ARINC 429) and military (MIL-STD-1553) avionics databuses, providing aerospace engineers who use Condor avionics boards with the ability to use Model-Based Design, including xPC Target real-time testing software, for design and testing of avionics systems.

Condor Engineering offers a wide range of intelligent MIL-STD-1553 interface hardware to meet the demands of aerospace engineers.
